Where is the entrance to Château d’Angers?

Many tourists struggle to find the visitor entrance to this great fortress with its 17 imposing towers! Entry is via Promenade du Bout du Monde, to the left of the Angers Tourist Office when you arrive at Place Kennedy in Angers. The access bridge is located on the north-northeast facade of the monument. Once you cross the bridge, you’ll find the ticket office on your left. In the courtyard, an orientation table guides you to discover the 20,000 m² of the site.

You exit the château via the same bridge by which you arrived.
