Mosaic artist Odorico made his mark in Angers with the decoration of the Hôtel d'Anjou restaurant. He has sublimated the art of mosaic with his more or less generous brilliant touches. His golden tesserae catch the light on the city's facades, discreet as the twinkling of stars. But other typically Art Deco buildings also illustrate the change in lifestyle and mentality it brought about after the euphoria of the Roaring Twenties, in the interwar period.
