  • The famous vineyard of Savennières, leaned on the Loire, is well-known for its dry wines and has three “appelations d'origine contrôlée” (equivalent of “protected designation of origin”): “Savennières”, “Roche aux Moines” and “Coulée de Serrant”.

    - The picturesque little market town of Epiré is located between Savennières and Bouchemaine. Its old church is now a private property sheltering the wine cellar of the Château d’Epiré wine estate.

    This hike is very enjoyable in spring and at the end of summer as you can discover the various steps of the vineyards work.
