Ecouflant is an old fishing village between lands and waters, in the heart of the low valleys of Angers, in front of Saint-Aubin island. Its name comes from its situation, as it is in the confluence of the rivers of the Vieille Maine, the Loire and the Sarthe.

Opposite the island of Saint-Aubin, here is a walk that lets you discover the banks of the Sarthe as well as the fauna and flora typical of the Lower Anjou Valleys. The landscapes of moors and woods, peppered with ponds surrounded by broom, offer the perfect setting for long walks.

- The 6 kilometres towing, along the Sarthe river, bears witness of the era of waterway transports with vestiges of old kilometre markers and footbridges.
