It starts at the source of the Loir (in Saint-Eman in Eure-et-Loir) and terminates in Angers where it intersects with two major long-distance cycle routes, the Loire à Vélo and the Vélo Francette.

    - The watermill experience L’Engrenage: this 800-year-old mill on the banks of the Loire produces electricity for the village of Villevêque (a sub-commune of Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou).
    - The Nov'art contemporary arts route in the streets and parks of Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou, from June to August.
    - The educational marsh in Briollay where you can see all the plant varieties found in the Lower Anjou Valleys.
    - A drink at one of the riverside cafés or restaurants on the banks of the Loir, Sarthe or Mayenne.
    - A rest under the trees at the picnic area on the banks of the Mayenne in Cantenay-Épinard.
    - Helping the ferry man pull the cable ferry across the Mayenne to the car-free island of Saint-Aubin.
