Savennières, a delectable village

The Savennières vineyard goes back to the beginning of the Christian era. For nearly two thousand years now, it has yielded very fine white wnes with excellent keeping qualities - AOC is short for Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, meaning the wines have been awarded a legal guarantee of origin and quality.
