A boire à manger

Restaurant ,  Bistro/wine bar in Angers
  • An agricultural engineer, Alexandre Forge specialised in wine, after a Vintage master's degree at ESA and a stint in the vineyards, notably those of Jo Pithon in Layon. His cellar with its cutting-edge references, organic, biodynamic and more, has quickly become a must in the station district, on Place de la Visitation. In this setting with its stone and slate walls, the dozens and dozens of bottles are enough to turn heads! In particular, those of natural wine lovers who come for advice and a warm welcome. Since opening in 2014, the cellar has doubled as a restaurant with terrace. At lunchtime, lovers of fine food will find local bistro cuisine here, fine and refined. In the evening, French-style tapas based around charcuterie and ultra-quality cheeses form a wonderful accompaniment to the tasting of wines from the neighbouring cellar! Cheers !
