Loire River and Authion Marshes Circuit

Starting in Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire, the Loire River and Authion Marshes Circuit takes you on 44-kilometre ride through the horticultural valley of Angers and charming traditional villages along the Loire.

Don’t miss:

The horticultural valley of Angers with its orchards and fields of flowers and vegetables protected by the Levée de la Loire river embankment.
The charming village of Le Thoureil - the quayside lined with smart houses and flower-filled terraces makes a nice place for a stroll.
The bell towers along the GR3 hiking trail that served as navigation landmarks (nicknamed “the lighthouses of the Loire”), up to the church of Gennes-Val-de-Loire.
